Drivers get two opportunities to take to the podium at the penultimate meeting of the season, held on the Snetterton 300 circuit, with one qualifying session followed by two 40-minute pit-stop races, all taking place on Sunday 11th October.
The Snetterton 300 layout offers a real challenge, requiring accuracy throughout its three-mile lap. Long straights favour the higher-powered cars, while the tighter, technical sections play to the strengths of more agile machinery. This cat-and-mouse mix provides the perfect playground for Trackday Trophy’s multi-class power-to-weight structure, putting the emphasis on racecraft rather than pure performance.
Among those entered in Class B is Dubshack Performance’s David Zakrzewski in the BMW E36, who is set to go head-to-head with fellow front-runner Jordan Honeybone in the Apple Racing Renault Clio for the first time this season. The pair shared the track earlier in the season at Donington Park; however, a mix of conditions kept them apart.
Apple Race Team will be ones to watch for overall victory too, as Jordan, teaming up with father Ray, looks to win at Snetterton again in 2026, having taken victory at the season opener ahead of the team of Jack Wright and Matthew Allat in the Team Air Supply Porsche.
In Class C, the Algar Racing pairing of Colin Murphy and Tom Algar will be looking to improve on their fourth-place finish last time out at Donington Park, as they take on, among others, podium regular Wayne Cockerill in the Toyota Celica.
Lee Taylor, driving the Graves Motorsport MX-5, will be looking for a repeat of his stellar drive at Snetterton earlier in the season, where he took the Class D victory, finishing 9th overall after starting from 23rd. It won’t be plain sailing, however, as Jack Stewart in the JSR MX-5 will also be looking to challenge for the top spot at the Norfolk circuit.
The depth of Class D competition doesn’t finish there, though, as Chris Stone in the Boreham Motorsport MX-5, along with EKHO Racing’s Mike Fletcher and Alex Langsdon, will also be in the mix.
