Trackday Trophy is back for it’s 15th successive season in 2024!
To celebrate the landmark season for the series, a tremendous provisional calendar has been curated. A number of the UK’s most prestigious race circuits feature, including some series stalwarts and paddock-favourites. To only further to the excitement, Trackday Trophy makes its debut at two circuits in 2024 – including, for the first-time ever, a European round!
The platform is in place for another year of gripping on-track battling, across all three classes.
The 2024 season opener is set to take place in Leicestershire on April 21st, at the ever-popular Donington Park National. There’s always a great sense of intrigue and anticipation surrounding the first race of the year and we expect Donington Park to more than live up to the billing. From one fantastic circuit to the next, the second round of 2024 is expected to be hosted at the incredibly prestigious Brands Hatch Grand Prix circuit. Having not raced on the highly sought-after circuit in 2023, the return to the Kent venue's tremendous Grand Prix configuration has rightly caused a stir.
A MSVT Racing debut at Lydden Hill follows, offering competitors a rare chance to race on the Kent circuit. The mile-long Full Circuit should provide an exhilarating configuration for drivers to battle on – watch out for Devils Elbow! Attention then shifts to a stalwart for Trackday Trophy, Snetterton. Again competitors will test both themselves and their machinery to the limit, while racing for the podium places on the tricky, technical 300 configuration. A return to Cadwell Park follows. The winding, undulating Lincolnshire Wolds circuit will be both challenging and rewarding for all competitors in attendance. Everyone who finishes on the podium at Cadwell Park will have certainly earned it.
Trackday Trophy is then set for a special penultimate round of the season. For the first-ever time, and through popular demand from within the paddock, Trackday Trophy then embarks on a European adventure! Circuito de Navarra is set to be the destination for the sixth race of the season, with all the ingredients in place for a potential instant Trackday Trophy classic.
2024 is then set to wrap up in the traditional way, at the Brands Hatch MSVT Racing Season Finale in October. As with previous years, we expect the battle for the final podium places of the year to be incredibly tight and look forward to seeing a packed grid of competitors see out the season in style.
