The season opener of the 2022 Trackday Trophy (TDT) marks a twelfth successive year of the series and sees a visit to one of the most internationally-renowned and historically significant circuits in the world – Silverstone.

Opening way back in 1948 on the site of a RAF bomber station, Silverstone is a track rich with motorsport heritage and will offer competitors the opportunity to race on the same tarmac as some of motorsport’s greatest ever two and four wheeled drivers.

TDT participants will battle it out on the 1.64 mile National Circuit, taking on some of the most notorious corners in British racing, including: Maggotts, Becketts, Copse and Luffield – a mouthwatering prospect for experienced drivers and newcomers alike.

With an expected bumper-grid combining both new and returning faces, 2022 is shaping up to be a really exciting year for Trackday Trophy and the prestigious Silverstone feels the perfect place to kickstart the series.

Brothers Scott and Ryan Parkin were victorious after the 34 laps at Silverstone in 2021 in their VW Golf, with Stewart Donavan and Alistair Esam claiming the Class C and Class D top steps respectively and it will be interesting to see if they can all repeat that feat this year.

For your chance to claim a trophy this year, you can enter here! There are only a few spaces left on the grid so be sure to enter soon to avoid disappointment.
