Team Description

Team Hmmm are Ian Berry and Hugh Chambers. They have been friends for about 18 years and both used to race karts many years ago. Hugh works at the BOA and had done 2 car races before the team did the last Trackday Trophy race at Brands in 2010. Ian has been racing cars for a few years – Renault 5, Fun Cup, Lotus Elise Trophy, Production BMWs – and is the Group Trackhire Manager at MSV. The car is built to Production BMW Championship rules so it’s very standard, a bit heavy and a bit slow. But it is a laugh to drive. It was a bit of a mess from a hard season in 2010 so over the Winter it’s been rebuilt by students of Waltham Forest College (pictured) as a project car and the team will be supported at race meetings by the students from the college and the Robert Levy Foundation.
