The first Trackday Trophy double-header race weekend is taking
place this weekend at Cadwell Park. With the race on Saturday
fully booked - and just a few places remaining on the grid for
Sunday's race - it's going to be a packed weekend of track action
not to be missed.
Originally, the Trackday Trophy was scheduled to host one race
on Saturday, for which there is a capacity grid. However, the level
of enthusiasm from competitors has led to the addition of a
previously unscheduled second race on Sunday, with 20 cars already
confirmed. Additional competitors from Saturday's event are likely
to join the grid on Sunday - cars permitting! - and it will be
interesting to see how the advantage of circuit knowledge affects
the results of race two.
28 competitors are entered for the race on Saturday with a
further 21 currently racing on the Sunday. Places are therefore
still available for the second grid on Sunday 22nd May
